Starring Ed Hogg, Simon Farnaby, Veronica Echegui and Julian Barratt Bunny And The Bull is a comedy road movie set entirely in a flat. Stephen Turnbull hasn't been outside in months. When a sudden infestation of mice forces him to abandon his routine, he finds his mind hurtling back to the disastrous trek around Europe he undertook with his friend Bunny. Two gambling addicts let loose for the first time, they are hopelessly unprepared for the adventure that awaits them. Stephen's flat becomes the springboard for an extraordinary odyssey through lands made up of snapshots and souvenirs, from the industrial wastelands of Silesia to the bull fields of Andalusia. Bunny And The Bull is a touching and beautiful journey to the end of the room.

Bunny & The Bull (2009) is a quirky odd comedy from the makers of The Mighty Boosh. The cast includes Edward Hogg, Simon Farnaby, Julian Barratt, Noel Fielding and Richard Ayoade.

There are some very funny moments in this movie but the humour is definitely an acquired taste. Fans of The Mighty Boosh will get it but others may struggle.

Writer/Director Paul King (The Mighty Boosh) uses very unique visuals and cartoonish backgrounds to make this movie one of the most bizarre made in recent years.

I liked Bunny & The Bull but it wasn't the genius I was hoping for. Too much of it just wasn't funny. Still there's a lot to be enjoyed.

Bunny and the Bull is an unusual creature, its unique visuals are more akin to a play at some points, its mixture of surreal and subtle humour, slapstick and wordplay is in some places genius the music is stunning when at its best (i highly recommend the soundtrack) and the plot goes a little deeper than the average comedy, especially towards the end.

Many people will buy this knowing that the involvement of the Boosh, but this is perhaps a little unfair to the film itself as it deserves the chance to stand on its own as a unique and separate entity.

To conclude i can see why people could be disappointed with Bunny and the Bull, it isn't The Mighty Boosh - The Movie it was and still is touted to be by some but it is an excellent and totally original British film, and in all honesty isn't that what we need more of?

 Almost great

Very stylish and should be very funny it's just the lead actor Simon Farnaby...he's a bit 'wooden'. Anyway it's quite enjoyable but do yourselves a favor and buy Withnail and I on blu ray with this, it's a similar story and is much more cool.
