As 6-year-old Andy's favourite toy, Woody (Tom Hanks), a take-charge, pull-string cowboy, is confident in his role as room leader. But after Andy's birthday party, newcomer Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), a flashy space ranger with laser action and pop-out wings, crash-lands into Woody's world.

Buzz instantly wins the admiration of Andy's other toys, igniting a rivalry that lands the duo inside the home of Sid - the toy-torturing boy next door. To escape Sid's evil plans, Woody and Buzz must work together and realize they've got the perfect friend: in each other!

Toy Story shines onto blu-ray with a spectacular transfer that makes the dvd look two dimensional and a sublime soundtrack...Join Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz (Tim Allen) in their innovative adventures of trying to be Andy's number one Toy instead of being left on the dreaded shelf...Disney Pixar have really done themselves proud in this enchanting tale of Toys that come to life and become close friends in their many ups and downs. watch the colours bounce off your screen with the pin sharp fine detail of the characters like you've never seen before.....A sublime reference quality blu-ray with 10/10 in every aspect...Very Highly Recommended

This is certainly one of pixar's finest creations! A very good fun filled film for all the family, not just children. The characters are all great and the story is fun, the whole idea is very original and still today after all these years remains a strong film! If you have not already seen it then of course its a must own! Pixar movies are unbelievably good quality Blu-rays and look great in Hi-Def so this is the ultimate version.

 The same classic Toy Story....

.....brought to life even more than the original DVD Special Eds in this simply fabulous Blu Ray copy. Ok you can see that 10 years have passed in some of the animation, (Sids dog is a prime example lol), but other than these very silly shortcomings, this remains one of THE classic CGI & animated movies of many generations.

Just the detail on rex's plastic casing is enough to convince Blu Ray defeatists that this is miles ahead of DVD. It actually LOOKS like plastic, not just shiny rendering like it used to. The little plastic dimples on Potato Head, the fibres on Andy's bed sheets, i could go on - just be prepared to really enjoy this all over again. Pixar have seen fit to bless the Blu Ray with absolutely 1st rate picture and audio that nobody would be disappointed with.

All backed up with a brilliant package of extras. I laughed my head off the same as i did when i saw this in good old patchy vision at the local Odeon 15 years ago, (god Dolby Surround seemed amazing in those days!), and the kids and my girlfriend loved it too. Plus the extras have the same lick of polish as the movie itself, providing value way beyond the asking price. And to top it off, there's a DVD copy included for the kids to watch, again with all the same great extras and excellent picture quality, (for DVD).

On it's own an absolute must have, with the BOGOF offer, an utter bargain. Get this and Toy Story 2 and laugh and cry yourself silly....

 AMAZING !!!!!
