Take a trip into the world of the subconscious with 'The Dark Knight' director Christopher Nolan's mind-bending thriller. Packed with pulse-pounding action scenes and an incredible cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page, this is the stuff dreams are made of!

Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved.

Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one.

If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

OK lets keep things simple. I loved the meaning and style and direction and acting in this movie.
I wont pretend to that I understand how the multiple Dream Levels worked in the last Third of the movie, I just about understood it when I was watching it.
What is brilliant about the movie is you can watch it on a very intelligent level or on a Popcorn entertainment Action Chase Movie level and it works on both levels.
Christopher Nolans direction is just sublime, the way he manages to engage and respect the viewers intelligence is commendable. He is now in the top band of directors, which include Michael Mann, Martin Scorsese, David Fincher, Quentin Tarantino and Steven Speilberg.
The Special effects were truly Jaw Dropping, just when you think you cant be impressed any further by the latest SFX, this movie takes it to another level.
The Action set pieces are authentic and reminiscent of Michael Manns best work from Heat and Miami Vice.
The Acting is of the highest order, the supporting players are all perfectly cast, but it is Leonardo Di Caprios show all the way, quite simply because if we dont connect with his performance, the film does not work. And he is Sublime in every scene he is in.
Also loved the Foreboding Background Music.
So there it is, the Must See movie of the year.

An absolute triumph! An amazing movie again from Christopher Nolan who shows us time and time again that he is one of, if not the best director out there at the moment. Dicaprio is also brilliant in what I would say is his best role to date (yes even better than the departed!) and he just shines on the screen with Nolan guiding him along the way. The movie in itself is complicated if you don't pay enough attention, however if you do (and by god you will), you will be shown an amazing idea that blows the mind! A quick mention to the British actor Tom Hardy who is a fantastic actor and who's work I have followed for a few years now. He is making great strides in hollywood at the moment (with this of course and he is set to play Mad Max in the remake soon) and I firmly believe that he is destined for greatness!

Great Movie, by a Great Director!

I was at the world premiere of this in Leicester Square! And I can tell you right now, this film is worth buying, and I can't stress it enough!

However, the film is typical Christopher Nolan, it's dark, well written and the characters is brilliantly played by the respectable Actors!
Just like previous Nolan films you need to see this more than once. and this is in no way a negative thing!
Buy it as soon as it gets out!!

 The trailer was better.

An "ok" film. Very well polished and crafted. Some interesting ideas. However the plot is FULL of holes and it's hard to get excited about a film that has lots rules for people to follow (50 years in "limbo", if you're not careful), but no bad guys at all. I mean, this film is about some guy, trying to get another guy to split his big company into smaller companies... Wow, I'm gripped... Both my Wife and I shrugged at the end, as ultimately this really is a (granted, very well made) load of old twaddle... The trailer is more exciting.

and now for something completely different...

There's no need for me to go into the details of how genius the story line is or how the ridiculous concept works into a beautiful script, because everyone already knows it. What I love about inception is the fact that Christopher Nolan has put together something that has never been explored before, the power of dreams and their vunerability. It's not a film about vampires or a ridiculous murderer or some mythical battle, and we've seen so many of these we can predict the plot before the trailers ended. It's something which will be seen as a landmark in film history, and along with Dark Knight, it's definitely one of the best films of the last ten years.
