This film came completely out of nowhere to be honest. Really wasnt expecting this.
Based in the not too distant future in my opinion. This film portraits events based on artificial organs. And hence the name repo men, getting them back when you dont keep up your payments. Just like the mortgage company taking back your house. Well sort of .. ha
Brilliantly put together with some fantastic fight scenes. And substantial gore to this film , Especially near the end i found things got slightly more gorey. Maybe you wont think so but i sure did..
A superb twist i must say to round it up, fantasticly executed. But giving me some substantial annoyance. But still very good.
Jude Law and Forest Whittaker pulled off some fantastic acting and really brought it home for this film.
Its different, its action packed, its gorey, 4/5 overall!! Recommend!!

Gory, realistic and just unbelievable in every way. The film is extremely engaging from start to finish, with a fantastic soundtrack to add to the brilliance. Top class performances from Jude Law and Forrest Whittaker make this film completely unmissable, with a sort of blade runner feel and a sudden twist which you will not suspect.
10/10 Absolutely AMAZING!

Awesome film, the on-screen compatibility of Law and Whitaker is extremely good, they have an extremely good connection and the story is well paced, well told, exciting, enjoyable, and new... Definitely a 5 star.

This movie truly is a gem, certainly one of the best this year, fantastic story very original and an interesting yet bleak vision of what could happen! Some of the scenery of the movie is very blade runner with its style, theres a hint of other films too but still has its own unique look, the union are in charge of replacing your body parts helping you live longer for a very high price and a long term set of instalments to pay, however if you dont pay and fall behind they send out the repo men to take them back! Jude Law and Forest Whitaker are awesome and work well as partners and both play a really great role. The level of violence and bloodshed is off the scale in this movie so its never a dull moment! There is a very clever twist to the movie too that you would never see coming and never even imagine, its very well conceived. overall its a film well worth every penny. Quality entertainment.

'WHAT THE FUTURE MAY HOLD ?

the film tells the story of of desperate people agreeing to hyper-expensive organ replacement that many of them have little or no hope of paying for......if they fall behind in their payment they will get a visit from 'the repo-men' who are paid to take back that which cannot be paid for.
'remy' ( jude law ) and 'jake' ( forest whitaker ) are two of the best in the business of reclaiming 'body-parts'
the two grew up together, and had previously served in the 'forces' together, they were work colegues and more importantly-friends.
'remy's' wife did not like the work that her husband was doing, it caused a strain on their relationship, if he didn't quit, he'd be seperated from both his wife and son.
after substaining an injury in the line of work, 'remy' wants to call it a day, however he to is in debt having signed up for his heart replacement.
now, he to is on the run and links up with 'beth' as they try to flee the oncoming 'repo-men'
what will happen now that 'jake' his long time friend is assigned the task of hunting them down ?
the film is different, i would say it does take a while to get going, however get-going it does and really it turns into a pretty good watch.
there are quite a few scenes to make you 'cringe' ---be warned.
never thought i'd find myself writing this, but i've got to say 'jude law' acts his socks-off , a really good part for him and 'well done'
'forest whitaker' allmost allways gives a decent performance, and doesn't fail with this.
all in all, worth a spin.
