Excellent series but not really a blu ray set

I gave this five stars because it is such a good series. Even as the eighth outing it is still original, action packed and tense as ever.

If I was reviewing purely as a blu ray product I would give three stars. The picture is marginally better than DVD. Other tv series in blu ray have excellent picture quality. This does not. At under twenty five quid it's good value as that's little more than the DVD price. At its original rrp of nearly fifty I would be very annoyed.

This has to be my favourite series of 24 and the shocking cliffhangers and twist does keep you on the edge of your seat until the shocking climax. I have this on blu-ray and the picture quality is not that good to be honest even though i have a full HD lcd and Full new blu-ray player i would give the picture quality 7/10 but its still a good series.

Its such a shame that this is the final series of one of the greatest brilliant tv drama series. without giving awy any spoilers they is a shocking death but won't reveal who gets killed of. all your favourite characters returns including new characters and plus they is a new CTU In this series that is set in NY.

Chloe returns along with jack of course and jack gets back into action when he learns that they is attempt on president omar hassan at the UN. overall this is a good series to end one of the greatest dramas on tv, i would recomed that you buy this and you will not be disappointed and its worth the money!

Great ending to a great series

The final season in itself delivers a great deal of TV entertainment. But alas you've seen all the elements in the previous seasons so there is really no advancement. Therefore I only give 4 out of 5 stars. The story is still captivating though and the final moment goes straight to your heart. Picture quality is pretty good as it should be on a Blu-ray. Beware that the box consists of only 4 Blu-rays with 6 episodes each and one Bonus-DVD.
