Critics loved it, but in the cinema it could not find an audience. But it is a beautiful film. IT IS NOT A MUSICAL like Chicago or Moulin Rouge if you look for an up lifting musical this is not for you. But if you love great film making and stage musicals then you may find yourself wanting to watch it again the minute it stopped like I did. Anyone you studied stage or screen at university/college will love it.
what a waste of my time - very well made and great production, but really boring and pointless. Zero plot and a generally painful experience all round.
This film was very odd and rather boring, we all wished we watched something else.
