Pro wrestling legend Steve Austin stars as a man with no name, no memory and absolutely nothing left to lose. But when he finds himself hunted by both the FBI and the Russian mob, this amnesiac decides to fight back. Pursuit cannot stop him. Torture will not break him. And with every beating, bullet and betrayal, he'll remember another piece of the horror that took away his career, his family and his identity. Now the puzzle is nearly complete, and one man is about to take back his past... by ending a whole lot of futures. Erica Cerra (Eureka) and Adam Beach (Flags Of Our Fathers) star in this explosive action-thriller about collateral damage, stone cold vengeance, and a double-crossed killing machine known only as The Stranger.

IT's not often that you get to praise a crossover star for his acting chops. The world of DTV Low-budget action is awash with ex-sportsmen, wrestlers and other muscled chancers, all trying to grab a slice of the post-pub home video pie but Steve Austin (The Expendables) bests most of them with a performance that, taken in context, stands head and shoulders above most of the wooden performances that passes for acting in these kind of flicks.

Austin is a man with a shady, violent past he can't remember. There's a trail of destruction following the guy, in addition to government agencies and a kindly female doctor who wants to help him rebuild his identity. Basically, he knows bad things have happened but we only see shattered fragments of these events.

With so many people after his skin, the film is essentially one big, exciting man hunt and Austin delivers in terms of murderous rage and violent acts,

There are however, some mellower moments that allow him to add a little light and shade to the part. He's not in line for an Oscar anytime soon, but compared to some of his contempories, he handles these scenes well, which adds an extra layer to what is, in essence, a low budget Bourne meets CSI flick.

Mix in some rather nasty torture scenes, a motorbike chase and a lot of fist fighting and you've got an entertaining little movie that shows the former Wrestling superstar could really crossover into more mainstream movies.

 Austin is amazing

dont get me wrong its a gd film and austins actting is gd to as well as the other peoples actting to. the camera work is poor as it moves way to much and does the same when the action starts to this is due to it being a low budget film and i think sum people will say this film is bad cos of it. well if u can ignore the poor camera work then u will enjoy the film. not to spoile it but not sure if the film will continue as it seems as tho its left open at the end.

This film is a waste of time and money
