The Expendables (Blu-ray)

This was my Number One personally Hyped Up movie of the last year.
Ive been on a one man mission promoting this Beast of a Movie like I was on Sly Stallones pay roll.
I have hyped it due the cast but always made people aware that it was just gonna be a Trashy Fun Movie.
And that my friends it certainly is.

The story is plain 80s style average, the acting pretty wooden with the exception of one of Mickey Rourkes scenes.
This movie is all about the cast, and WHAT A CAST, Stallone, Statham, Li, Lundgren, Rourke, Austin, Roberts and Cameos from
Schwarzenegger and Willis. And that is the real pleasure, watching all these guys kicking ass in the same scenes.
The Arnie, Sly and Bruce face off was good, but could have been better and a little longer.

The film is averagely made and in parts and has a B Movie feel to it, but that maybe intentional.
The action scenes are Very Violent and Gory, but not very Imaginative.

Anyway this is not the sorta movie u pick holes in. It does what it says on the Tin. Enjoy

There are so many good things to say about this film!! If you love a quality bad ass action film with plenty of punch then look no further! This is truly one awesome film with tons of cool hardcore blood and bullets to match anything that has come before it! Stallone is ahead of his game once again with an amazing cast, Jason Statham was brilliant, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin, the list goes on! Almost every major player is here all doing what they do best. The story is simple and assures that there is plenty of carnage for all the bad boys to throw their weight around! Theres tons of violence and explosions! And a fantastic cameo from Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger which is one of the best scenes in a movie ever where they all parody each others lives, pointless but hilarious to see them all together with Stallone! Fantastic film, very old skool and retro and takes you back to the good old days of 80s and 90s style by the book action films!! One film you need to watch.

seen this in the cinema a few weeks ago, in my opinion & the few others i know that have seen it, we thought it was awful. Obv seeing as all the reviews iv read have been positive im sure most action fans will enjoy it. I personally am an action movie fan & went in with huge expectations & ended up bored some way in.

Well slap my a$$ and call me barry. ive never seen this many of my all time favourite actors in the same film ever. This all star cast is the only reason i watched this. Oh.. and the fact that the trailer looked uber cool :) yes.. uber ;)

Yeh ok.. ill agree with ya. The storyline was a bit shocking.. Ok .. shocking but who cares. You watch this because you love action, you love the fight scenes, you love the actors and most of all you want a brilliant film to watch.

In the end despite some draw backs and a small budget probably it still pulls it off. 4/5!!

I like this as a popcornmovie,must all films be serious?No no,forget that,with a little slow first 30minute,then things go in action,Stallone
and company is tuff boys here,guns,knives,fights,bloods all over,i have
surround system,when the movie was over i pick op the bullets on my
floor,great on blu ray...Sound also great...BUY IT IF YOU WILL HAVE ACTION FOR MAD BOYS....
