Toy Story: As six-year-old Andy's favorite toy, Woody (Tom Hanks), a take-charge, pull-string cowboy, is confident in his role as room leader. But after Andy's birthday party, newcomer Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), a flashy space ranger with laser action and pop-out wings, crash-lands into Woody's world.
Buzz instantly wins the admiration of Andy's other toys, igniting a rivalry that lands the duo inside the home of Sid - the toy-torturing boy next door. To escape Sid's evil plans, Woody and Buzz must work together and realize they've got the perfect friend...in each other!

Toy Story 2: The original all-star voice cast from Toy Story is joined in Toy Story 2 by a new gang of unforgettable characters, including Jessie the cowgirl, Bullseye the horse and Stinky Pete the prospector.

While Andy is away, Woody is abducted by a greedy toy collector. Before you can say "to infinity and beyond," Buzz Lightyear, Mr. Potato Head, Hamm, Rex and Slinky Dog spring into action in this thrilling and hilarious rescue mission. Winner of the Golden Globe for Best Picture, Toy Story 2 won raves from critics and audiences alike..

Toy Story-i can remember sitting the cinema watching this movei, i was 7 at the time and still its as funny as when i was that age perhaps even more funny as i get the adult humour , this movie was the first animated feature like this and set the stage for the likes of shrek will was be a classic . *****(5)

Toy Story 2- not many can top the first movie but i think it is just as good same humour , different adventure and new toys .

Blu Ray is just pure amazing making the two movies a better experience to watch. Bring on Toy Story 3. PS woody number 1 lol

Toy story means so much to me after growing up with the series from an early age, and watching them again in blu ray was the ultimate nostalgia trip. Nostalgia aside these are two of Pixar's greatest animations, in terms of emotional storytelling, iconic characters and revolutionary visuals. Admittedly, eventhough it looks wonderful in HD, it does highlight the ageing animation - especially in Toy Story 1. Definately worth buying though if you only have the cassette videos like I had.

AMAZING! BRILLIANT! TIMELESS! These movies are worthy of every accolade thrown at them. Two of the best animated movies ever made! Brilliantly cast and superbly animated! I would just like to give Jim Varney (Slinky) a special mention as he sadly passed away in February of 2000.

 time-less classics!

well to say these films are great is a massive understatement they are all the best words rolled into one (somehow, awesome, great, brilliant, genus...) These two films were the basis for my childhood I practically grew up with them. Watching them again in 2010 you would expect to think that it looks old and just move on with the times but no they have lasted the test of time and they could have just came out in the past 5years, I would certanly recomend these to pretty much anyone who has a pulse, great viewing! Exspecially in the double pack you could do a marathon the go and see the 3rd
