  Saw enough

And so it all finally ends and not before time. Originally conceived as two films until Saw VI disappointed at the box office, this has too much nonsensical plot crammed into too short a running time with too many nasty traps and too many characters we do not care a jot about. Director Greutert seems so concerned with piling up the 3D effects that he forgets to concentrate on the performances, with the shortcomings of Betsy Russell as a leading lady and the boredom of Costas Mandylor with his part particularly coming to light.

Hhmmmmm not as good as I thought

The film it self was ok not as good as some of the others the killings didn't seem to mix properly with the main plot of the film and to me it's wide open to start again so maybe this won't be the end of the legacy ..... As for the 3D I was really really disappointed I didn't even get a depth feeling in the picture and as for gimmicky poppy out bits I think there were 2 that didn't even work the best bit of 3D were the opening titles ..... So to maybe save money just go for the norm blu ray or DVD version but still get it if you liked the others it's still worth a look

Good but the twist was ruined!

Like its been said, not the best, not the worst. The twist with the Doctor could have been suprising if they hadn't of shown him earlier in the film, it just made it inevitable he would appear again.
But a good watch and certainly left a few mental scars.

best saw yet and in 3d

i love all the saw films,i thought after the first film nothing could top that, then i thought that about the second and so on,and nowi am certain nothing can top this 3d gore fest for horror and psychological terror.right from the very first scene in the window this film is scary full of gore and brilliant 3d

  A great gruesome ride

I can see lots of people have criticized this film and i strongly disagree, I saw this film in the cinema and it was brilliant, I thought it wrapped the films up really well and was gripping from start to finish, adding linkin park's chester bennington was also a nice bonus to a great cast, this is one of, if not my favorite, saw films and if you like the series then there's no question about buying it, its such an exciting ride if you have the money buy it!

  Brilliant, but slightly lacking

As a big fan of the saw franchise I couldn't wait to see this, "Saw 3D" brings the horrifying games of Jigsaw to life like never before. Or at least thats what i expected. There seemed to me to be a real lack of 3D, although the use of the 3D did give the film some dimension it was not as good as had been hoped.

The story hasnt been the focus of the Saw franchise since the original film, all of the films that followed seem to be more about gore and less thought put into the complex storylines.

Saw 3D, promoted as the Final Chapter in the series, picks up where Saw VI left off, with Hoffman having survived the trap he was put in by Jill and he is none too pleased to say the least. As a fan you would expect some cross references to jigsaw himself as we have seen in previous films, with the aid of flashbacks or video recordings etc, but references to him are very little, which is slightly disappointing as he means the most to the series at this point.

As for the traps they can be said to be decent but possibly a step down from previous instalments, maybe suggesting new ideas may be wearing thin. One of the traps for instance involves crossing an area where the floor is almost completely gone, which adds a nice bit of adventure to the vibe, but as thing go, not the best they have had.

Saw 3D is by far not the best movie from the franchise but is not at the same low point which was seen in Saw V. This is one to watch I certainly enjoyed it, However I was a little let down by its lack of 3D and the game/traps could have been better

  enough now please!!

Saw, the movie franchise. It all started so well with the original film that was a master peice in new thinking for the horror genre. Then as with Halloween, Friday 13th etc they started to labour the point and it slowly lost momentum and has finally ground to an embarrassing halt. 3D can't save this franchise now, no matter how good some effects might potentially be, it's time is done, I was / am a fan but enough already. MILKED!!!! Move on....
