Found this to be an Action Movie that I had missed from the 80's and early 90's, along the lines of Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Berverly Hills Cop, Tango & Cash and so on. It's got a similar feel to those movie, and some good action sequences for the time.
But the most enjoyable part was the very Sharp and Snappy dialogues by Shane Black.
And also the pretty good mismatched duo performance by the always watchable Bruce Willis and the pretty good Damon Wayans.
One to catch on TV.

One of my favourite action movies

This movie really takes me back, I love it. Its funny, action packed & Bruce Willis is at his wise-cracking gun-toting best. Damon Wayans is a lot if fun too, great partner for Willis. If you haven't seen it already you need to buy it now, especially if you're just getting into Bruce Willis films. Enjoy!

  Top notch action again

Bruce Willis has now proven he is the king of action films. And the last boy Scout doesnt disappoint. He plays an alcoholic private detective who is hired by Halle Berry in a very early role for her, to protect her from a local stalker sending threats. When she is murdered in front of him, he Teams up with her boyfriend played by Damon Wayans. This film has comedy, excellent one liners and great action a very very good buy.

  'typical 'bruce willis' material'

many of the earlier movie transfers to the 'blu-ray' format have been dissapointing, obviously we buy the films we love from yester-year on blu-ray hoping for sharper picture, thankfully 'the last boy scout' has been updated successfully ( wish as much honesty applied to all )
the film has 'bruce' as a private eye who is hired to investigate threats made against an exotic dancer's, but as the body count rises he is lead toward an assassination plot.
the film has 'bruce' in a typical role, plenty of one-line humour along with his usual 'heroic' action sequences.
i enjoyed the film all over again.....worth a spin.
