4 Great film, Good 3-D, Lousy special features.coppershark1973 | 27/10/2010 | See all coppershark1973's reviews (4)Finally ! Another 3-D Blu-ray to watch. After exhausting 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' this film was a welcome sight. The film if you haven't seen it is fantastic, but assuming you have you may want to know what this disc brings with it. Well, the 3-D is underwheming I'm afraid to say, apart from one or two interesting use like D.J.'s dream sequence and the Monster House chasing the children. The features are EXACTLY the same as the 2-D Blu-ray release apart from 2 short 3-D trailers. Sony is asking a lot of your wallet to invest in 3-D, so you would have thought they'd sweeten the pill by adding some nice new features we haven't seen before, but no. I would have gone for the 5 stars but for the fairly uninteresting use of 3-D and the complete lack of new features. You may want to just stick with your 2-D version but as this is one of about 3 or 4 films available in 3-D at the moment then you will probably buy it, just like I did. Overall, spooky fun !
