I recommend this to everyone! I am hard to please but you really must get this B/Ray. Matt Lucas is fantastic(And I am not a great fan of him in general), but am now. Alfie is wonderful in the lead as is all the cast. I watched spell bound just do yourself a good turn and buy this B/Ray and see if I am telling the truth.

Good, but not as good as the 10th anniversary Edition

I fell in love with Les Miserables one year ago, when I bought the 10th Anniversary Edition. I probably watched it five times during the two first week. That version is absolutely fantastic.

I liked this one too. The sound quality is superb, and it includes the entire show, which is good.

But if I had to choose, I will still go for the 10th Anniversary Edition. I wish that one would be available on Blu-Ray.

My only experience with Les Miserables live came from a trip to England well over 10 years ago. Since I am no more than 21 years old today you can image how I didnt really know what I was witnessing back then, but now I am glad I was there. This Blu-Ray, in addition to the CDs I have listened to over the past few years, is the perfect complimentary to the memories I have from that night.

Towards the ending of the show when the original cast came on stage I was simply out of words to describe it all. This is something any Les Miserables fan has to watch, and until the day comes that Im able to watch it live again, this will keep me satisfied over and over again. Stunning!

  Amazing

I was lucky to see it at the O2, but sadly the seats and sound were not so good. However the Bluray solves this issue, and it is stunning, we played it loud and just got absorbed into it. Alfie is amazing, a voice so powerful, I feel he did not need the mike on the night :)
Sadly Nick Jonus lets it down, though he has an OK voice, it had no power compaired to anyone else there, which is sad. He was totally out classed. Matt Lucas surprised me alot, I didn't know he could sing.

We were lucky enough to be at the O2 for this spectacular anniversary concert of Les Mis! it was a truly remarkable and memorable evening and did justice to a superb show that truly deserves to have made it to its 25th Anniversary! As we were "up in the gods" we are looking forward to the blu-ray to be able to see the faces etc but this will be a great souvenir of a fantastic night of theatre.

Like Fortman we were lucky enough to go to a screening at our Vue Cinema in Portsmouth. It was totally brilliant and without spoiling anything can I just say it was worth staying past "the end". Cant wait to see it all again when the dvd comes out. And it also proves yet again that its not just the play which is memorable as I yet again spent most of the performance in tears at the awesome music and songs. Even hearing Alfie Boe singing "bring him home" on the Wogans radio show had me in tears!! Just wait till you see Matt Lucas as Thenardier!!

We were lucky enough to see this via live feed from the O2 to our Cinema here in Leicester. A truly great show with some powerful voice performances, a must see for any Les Miserables Fan.
