This is the ultimate childrens family fun movie, a classic and original story full of hilarious antics and funny situations and plenty of Christmas spirit, the cast is perfect and John Williams music score is very memorable, a must own classic family comedy that never gets old a perfect holiday gift.

One of those movies that whenever it's on, it still pulls you in.
I was 11 when I first watched it and now I'm in my Thirties and it still entertains me.
It also seems to be ageing remarkably well, bearing in mind it's 20 years old.
The story is very straight forward about the adventures of a little boy who is left Home Alone, and has to stave off a pair of hapless Robbers.
It's pretty much non stop fun from the word go and is a very easy watch.
The Christmas setting also and a great deal of character to the movie and makes it one of my Fave Christmas movies aswell.
Macaulay Culkin is perfectly cast in the lead role and he brings the perfect amount of Innocence, Mischief and Attitude to the role.
Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern provide solid slapstick support as the bungling criminals.
Pretty much a classic for it's genre. A Must Watch for all the Family.

I hadn't seen it for about 15yrs then I saw it on Blu Ray and I bought it right away. It is an amazing transfer for it's age. One of my favourate childhood films at its best.

For a film what is 20 years old, I was very impressed with the transfer to Blu Ray. Any who purchases this you won't be disappointed, the only thing I would say is that all the extras are from the 2006 DVD nothing new. Still all pretty cool to watch though.
