  Awesome animated entertainment from Pixar!

Summary: The toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college, and it's up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return home.

This is the first animated film on Blu-Ray I've bought, and like this all animations must look flawless. It has a great story and some very cool and interesting characters. Also a good twist! I have to say I think it was close to getting a PG rating. A little dark in places for a U. If you have little kids, watch it with them to the end. Very entertaining and funny stuff.

Great film for kids & adults!

Amazing film ideal for kids and adults, so amusing and great entertainment. One of the best kids films ive ever seen.

Fantastic film well worth the watch!!

What a great film! Often the way with trilogies or even sequels is that as the films grow in number they become much, much worse. However that is most certainly not the case here.

I too did not see this at the cinema in 3D. However I was able to watch it in 1080p. The colours and general animation are as expected; fantastic, really vibrant, fluid and smooth. All of the favourite characters are back and the usual gags are there to be seen!

The plot was actually really good; it had several levels to it, which I think is exactly why Toy Story is so popular. There's the sadness and the happiness initially however later on comes another layer so to speak of politics between the toys. All in all a really good film that will leave you feeling uplifted.

Rounds of a consistently Brilliant trilogy perfectly

Again I missed this at the cinema and bought the Blu-Ray. Image and sound are out of this world. I was unconcerned that I didn't see it in 3-D as it didn't need it. Pixar again produces a wonderful, spectacular masterpiece which I think even surpasses the other 2. Fabulous entertainment for Adults & children alike. Every detail of Buzz, Woody and the gang's world is painstakingly, magically brought to life. Later on in the movie, are moments of incredible poignancy. Addressing the fear of Woody & the gang not being played with no more, also working on a totally different level about parents fearing that the inevitable day will come when their children will play with them, no longer. A classic in every sense.

Best Toy Story film of the 3

Although I'm not a great fan of Toy Story 1 or 2, I still wanted to watch this, and hoped for better than the first two.
Thought is was the best of the 3, and got into the story easily enough.
However, watched it a second time and fell asleep half way through, so although good, not sure it's one for the collection where you could watch numerous times.
I'm sure kids will love it far more than adults (not suprisingly)

Everyone loves this gang Woody, Buzz etc and they will be all sadly missed but it had to end somewhere and it was a fantastic ending too. New evil toys to keep this wonderful trilogy going and a few new extras. Dont miss out on this film and end the trilogy in style highly recomened!!!!

Perfect ending to a perfect animation trilogy masterpiece

Buy this movie without hesitation. It's wonderful, magical, exciting, and rounds up the trilogy in the best way possible.

The guy who wrote the review that this film is wearing a little thin, is wearing thin himself. Many trilogies and sequels should hope to be only fraction of this movie. The writing, the animation, all top notch, it adds new stuff to characters you already know so well.

Enjoy it, if possible on blu ray because it looks absolutely amazing. And although the last part of the series, it'll fill your heart with sheer joy and warmth. Highly recommended!!

Toy story 1 was ground breaking, and Toy story 2 even better.....but they have left the very best until last,,,,Toy Story 3 is out of this world....great story, great charaters....having watched the first 2 many times...and brought my kids up watching them too...it was brill to see woody and buz back....i watched it in 3d at the cinema....which was a good job as the 3d glasses hid the tears....and now watching it dvd....its even better....and the tears still flowed....it was like saying goodbye to old firends....Pixar you know how make these charaters come alive....and you can make us feel for them....better than some relife actors....change the rules and give this the best picture oscar!!

Over a decade after part 1 we get a worthy 3qual, felt a bit strange in places with andy now grown up and some toys missing, but this is still a brilliant family film to enjoy more than once, and the quality of the blu-ray is also brilliant. Keep it up pixar

  NOT THE SAME THIS TIME..........

i thinks its safe to say the picture is going to be magic...not shore if its just me but i felt as though this didnt quite have the magic as the first two...the characters are all here and buzz is the star attraction with some very funny scenes coming from him towards the end...but i found myself waiting for the movie to finish which is a shame as i thought the first two were real gems maybe the franchise is wearing a little thin....
