I really loved this movie, all the characters were fantastic, but the " bosses" were really good, particularly Colin Farrell and Jennifer Aniston, who is a world away from Rachel Green in Friends. Give it a go- you won't be disappointed!!

Give it a proper go and smile!!

I fell asleep the first time round watching this movie. Not really because I was bored, more the effect of a night in with a bit of vino... The first half was 'lost' so I gave it another shot when clear and alert and I am very glad I did. The exchanges between he characters of the 3 main leads were excellent and highly amusing. Had me laughing out loud lots. The plot while trying to be clever did the perfect job of strangely not being clever just a fortuitous back drop to a what turned out to be a very funny and entertaining flick. Rent it, buy it, borrow it but definitely watch it.

If like me you feel as though you have been stuck in a rutt at work, overlooked un-appreciated and the only obsticle in your way is your boss than this is the film for you........ not that I suggest that you go to the lengths that the characters in the film go to.
Horrible Bosses is one of the best comedies this year. This is black comedy at it's best as the story follows Nick (Jason Bateman), Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale (Charlie Day) as they plan on getting revenge on their bosses for their constant threats, abuse and sexual advances. As you can expect things don't go to plan in some brilliantly funny situations. The master stroke to the film is the cast of the actual Horrible Bosses. The Psycho: Kevin Spacey is at his smarmy best as he plays mind games with Bateman. The Tool:Colin Farrell is very funny as the totally inoppriate Boss as the coke head manager of Charlie Day's chemical disposal company, but if there is a fault Farrell is under used as I could have easily have watch much more of his very un-PC managment tactics, The Nympho: Jennifer Aniston's dentist is outstanding as this is the best film she has ever been in as she makes sexual advances to Jason Sudeikis and manipulates him to getting her way with him.
The situations in the film are very funny especially as they go wrong as the team of would-be assassins fumble at every turn as things spiral out of control.
In a summer of disappointing event movies it seems that the smaller comdies are the ones that satisfied this year.
This is a great comedy with brilliant one liners that is the perfect escapism from the disappointment of most of our daily employment.

  ' GREAT CAST-LIST'

| | See all rbmusicman's reviews (896)

well the scene is set for much humour, 'nick' 'kurt' and 'dale' work for a collection of bosses played by 'jennifer aniston' 'kevin spacey' and 'colin farrell' ( great cast listing ) ''bosses from ''hell'' who are making our employees lives a misery.
only one thing to do it seems, hire a hit man, they seek out a low-life ( played by 'jamie fox' ) who apparently only offers a little obvious advice after recieving a shed-load of cash, the guy doesn't ''kill''
well our three would-be killers bunldle there way through the preperations to achieve, or not, their deadly intent,
i think an oppertunity was missed, it could have been very-funny with the cast on-board, yeh---had a few tongue-in-cheek moments, maybe not enough in truth..............worth a spin, even if only for the 'prep' from our would-be-killers.

Horrible Bosses is one of those films you can just watch and have fun with! It never takes itself too seriously and that makes for more fun! All 6 main characters are brilliant! The bosses are superb, the casting there is fantastic! The 'heroes' are also good! Charlie Day especially! Good little movie!

  Brilliant
