1 Worst Sci Fi ever? Possibly!TheDoctor73 | 16/02/2011 | See all TheDoctor73's reviews (1)I really don't know how anyone who enjoys sci-fi could actually give this a good review. It's up there with the Tom Cruise remake of "War of the Worlds". I suppose the only plus point was that the aliens could actually be damaged by Earth weapons, giving rise to the couple of minutes (combined from various scenes throughout the entire film) of vaguely entertaining cinema. It also lead to one of the worst parts of the film too, as the aliens that were injured proceeded to rebuild themselves using human body parts!! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when an alien that had been run over takes a guys brain to bring itself back to life. If you enjoy that sort of thing then you'll love the mother ship scene, which is just gobsmacking in it's stupidity. If, however, you have any taste in good films then you'll stay well away from this, possibly only watching it late night on channel 4 in their worst sci fi season.
