Ultimate Wave Tahiti (2D & 3D) (Blu-ray)

Saw this short and repetitive movie in the CN tower.Could'nt wait for it to finish there and the same goes for the DVD.
The effects ARE amazing,but the "story"/"adventure"? after 5 minutes,it feels like it's on a loop.

I watched this using a samsung 3d tv and a ps3 .
the video is only about 40 minutes long but has some of the best 3d live action footage i have seen , clean crisp visuals that pop . if you are a surfer it has nothing special going for it other than being in 3d , just basic wave riding ( nothing like the awesome "Billabong odyssey" ) i did think to myself that Kelly Slater put no effort in and looks like he is just there for the fun and money .
This is the perfect demo disk for showcasing your 3d tv to friends and family as it has some sweet under water scenes that is very impressive .
Plus- great visuals , 3d is fantastic
minus- short and just one viewing required

The movie in itself is quite simple (like most surf movies!) but the 3D effect on this is far better than any other 3D movie i've watched in the comfort of my own living room. It really did feel like objects were coming out of the TV. Very impressive! Kelly Slater in 3D... how can you go wrong!?! :-P
