Once the ugly duckling of the rural Dorset village of Ewedown, Tamara Drewe returns as a glamorous high flying journalist, ruffling feathers, rekindling old passions and shaking up the sleepy village with hilarious and heart-warming consequences.

Directed by Stephen Frears (The Queen), starring a host of great British talent including Gemma Arterton, Dominic Cooper, Roger Allam and Tamsin Greig and based on Posy Simmond's much loved graphic novel.

This is a very nice little British film with a great cast of characters and a wild and tainted story of love and sex all centred around the lovely Tamara played by the beautiful Gemma arterton, very funny black British humour with plenty of language, its a warm hearted tale thats sure to please any fan of this type of movie, certainly worth checking out you will probably be surprised!!

Blind buy and what a great film

LOL!! For Tamara Drewe read bury me in a Y shape coffin. I knew nothing about this except it was a book originally I think, so imagine my surprise when I realise it is about a young lady who had a nose job then comes home to her small village and beds every one she can incl the ugly old author that turned her suggestive advances down as a teenage school girl cause she had a big nose. LOL!! Again!! Pretty dreadful stuff really that leaves you wishing you could get the time back that you just lost. STINKER, avoid unless of course you like stinkers, then revel in it.......
