My favourite Disney movie of all time finally on Blu Ray. When I was a kid back in 87 you couldn't buy home videos easily so on a trip to the USA I was bought Alice on VHS not knowing it would not work in the UK. I was gutted when we got home and it didn't work. Finally I got the VHS when the UK started to capitalise on home VHS. When DVD came out I again had to get a copy from the USA as it was out practically a whole year before the UK.

I received my copy of Alice today and it does not disappoint. The film itself is stunningly transferred to Blu Ray. The picture looks amazing as are the vibrant colours. The audio is crystal clear. It's like watching a new cartoon not a 60 year old one.
The features are very good, most are on the previous DVD release but the "Through the Keyhole" feature pays the movie with some very informative information on Lewis Carroll and Walt Disney.
I found the Painting the Roses red game a little tedious but kids may like it.
The Disney View feature, which features artwork on the sides of the feature, I found a little distracting. I own Fantasia and it was great on that but I feel it was drawing my eyes away all the time here.
One of my favourite Disney movies, beautifully presented on Blu Ray.

Finally the Disney Blu-Ray I have been waiting for!
A whole world of fantasy and the best copy of Alice in Wonderland I have ever seen.
Looking forward to receiving this!

I've never really been a fan of Alice in Wonderland. Not the original film, nor the recent film. But, I love the books.

However, I need to fill my collection, and the film is actually not a bad film, so, I will be getting this!
