Throughout history, tales of chivalry have burnished the legends of brave, handsome knights who rescue fair damsels, slay dragons and conquer evil. But behind many a hero is a good-for-nothing younger brother trying just to stay out of the way of those dragons, evil and trouble in general.

Danny McBride and James Franco team up for an epic comedy adventure set in a fantastical world - Your Highness. As two princes on a daring mission to save their land, they must rescue the heir apparent's fiancée before their kingdom is destroyed. Thadeous (McBride) has spent his life watching his perfect older brother Fabious (Franco) embark upon valiant journeys and win the hearts of his people.

Tired of being passed over for adventure, adoration and the throne, he's settled for a life of wizard's weed, hard booze and easy maidens. But when Fabious' bride-to-be, Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel), gets kidnapped by the evil wizard Leezar (Justin Theroux)...

This is a brilliantly fantastic piece of comedy, best movie in years, certainly the best of 2011, this is laugh out loud hilarity from the very start until the end!! Fantastic cast all of which were very funny, good supporting cast and very comical story, its good to see such a fresh and original comedy that you will never forget, this is a gem of a film and a must have at any cost!!!!!

 Vulgar & Not Very Funny.

Your Highness (2011) is a comedy starring Danny McBride, James Franco, Zooey Deschanel, Damian Lewis, Charles Dance and Natalie Portman.

This is a very dumb and very silly comedy. There are moments of vulgar humour which raise laughs but sadly not enough to make this movie work.

McBride is a funny guy but he struggles in the leading role and is not helped by Franco who just fails to get any laughs. Portman is good and could prove to be a gifted comedic actress but she needs a better script then this.

Director David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) is too heavy handed with his direction. The jokes are too crude and the action is very standard stuff.

There are certainly some funny moments in Your Highness and eventually McBride will prove his talent in a really big comedy. Sadly this is not the movie to showcase his talents.

just average comedy with the majority of jokes being of sexual orientation. some mildy humerous jibes but nothing new or original.

 Not even remotely funny...

It's sad that a movie this bad, has such great actors in it. Typical (bad) American humor, awfull jokes, very predictable story, bad directing.... Just awfull, woulden't watch it again even if they offered me money for it. The trailer looks promising, the movie itself is just so very, very bad. It may be aimed at teenagers, but even then...
