Bruce Willis plays Korben Dallas, a New York cabbie who picks up the type of fare that only comes along once every 5,000 years. Leeloo (Milla Jovovich) isn't just the perfect beauty; she's also the perfect weapon. As planet Earth is about to be wiped out, the pair set off on a deadly mission to find a set of stones that represent the four elements and unite them with the fifth. But what is the fifth?

From Luc Besson, the acclaimed director of 'Leon ' and 'Nikita ' comes a film that reinvents the sci-fi genre. The Fifth Element takes you on an adrenaline-filled journey to a new dimension of sumptuous visuals and spectacular explosions.

Awesome film! And on bluray there is no doubt at all, great sci-fi, brilliant cast, Bruce willis, Milla jovovich and Gary oldman are all excellent. the story is fun and action packed with some quality visual effects, Quite an original vision of the future compared to alot of films, worth every penny.

Great film. Sadly, the blu-ray transfer is poor in my opinion. The first few minutes of the film are fuzzy for a start. Stick with your DVD.

 A timeless classic!

Possibly my favourite film to date, but I'm sure everyone looking at buying this knows how great the film is.

The blu-ray transfer is another matter. While the blu-ray does have some grainy moments, it certainly doesn't detract from some of the amazing detail revealed on the blu-ray version. The dive from the ventiliation shaft through all the cars really brings attention to this.

The colour is fantastic and really does pop if you compare it to the DVD, everything from the orange hair (and try counting all the shades with the HD of blu-ray) to the elemental colours!

The action scenes really stand out and this blu-ray makes them much more enjoyable, really puts you in the middle of it.

But if I had to give you ONE reason only to buy this blu-ray, the SOUND!! I would possibly say that the Diva singing (while Milla fights) is one of the BEST examples of what sound can be like on a blu-ray disc. It's the scene I put on whenever I try to convince someone just how special blu-ray is!

To confirm, this is the disc bought. Happy watching!
