VERY interesting film, but not the best Steelbook.

Being a fan specifically of thrillers set majorly in one location, Source Code is in my good books. The plot of the story is not too complex, is quite reoccurring and repetitive, but in a good way. I thought director Duncan Jones did a particularly good job of keeping the 1 hour 30 minute duration very suspenseful and exciting to watch. I would recommend this film to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

In terms of the product, I feel some people may be disappointed with it if they aren't aware of a few of its qualities. I would say it does feel quite cheaply made in comparison to its other Steelbook counterparts. Unlike other Steelbooks, the front and back cover of the Source Code Steelbook is just a sticker and not printed artwork. On the inside, there are no pictures, and around the perimeter of the Steelbook it is just plain metallic grey.

  Poor quality Steelbook

My low rating isn't for the film, but the poor quality steelbook. I enjoyed the film and would give it 4 stars. The steelbook however, is the worst in my collection. It looks cheap, basically a plain steelbook with a sticker put on the front and back. I hope Play exclusives are of better quality in the future.

Good film, not so good packaging

I watched this at the cinema and it's a great film. I wouldn't recommend the steelbook for collectors though as the artwork is only a sticker and not printed on the steel itself.

Jump back 8 minutes to a Great film.

I went to see Source Code and was not dissaponted. A man finds himself live the last few minutes of another mans life, he must find out who plans to distory the train he is on but he only has 8 minutes to do it. Every time he failes he is sent back again by the people who are using him. He also starts to fall in love with the man's female friend and trys to find a way to save her life. This film is very much like a Sci-fi show I like called Quantum Leap with a little mix of Back to the Future, If you like them, then you will like Source Code.

  Fast paced fun

A great bit of simple science fiction. Completely accessible to anyone and good fun to watch. It felt a bit like Deja Vu to me since the SciFi wasn't the focus of the story, rather it was the thriller in trying to solve the crime.

Jake Gyllenhaal is brilliant as ever.

Dont miss this Top Notch thriller

Went to see this at the cinema earlier in the year and was not disappointed. I must admit after the disappointment of Moon I was a bit apprehensive about it. But from the second it starts it ropes you in with its premise and intrigue. I agree with another reviewer on here that you can compare this to Vantage Point, but this is a better movie. Im thinking about buying this myself as its one of the movies I have really enjoyed this year. The other was 127 hours may be I should review that too :)

8 more Minutes, again and again.

Totally loved this movie and enjoyed it more than Inception. Don't miss this MUST-SEE film.
An action thriller centered on a soldier who wakes up in the body of an unknown man and discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train.

totally loved this film! well directed ( good old duncan jones ) and well acted by everyone. We loved the storyline...., the direction...the effects and although its being compared to groundhog day...its soooooo much better! saw it at the cinema twice...will no doubt watch it a few times when it hits blu ray....."as always you will only have 8 minutes" :)
