Yes it would be helpful if it is with subtitle, and in norwegian.
Love this story! An epic battle with will come more to life on big screen in 3D too with the right screen.

  Stop Moaning

Why are people moaning about these films being spread over two discs when the whole point of the Blu-Ray versions is about ultimate picture and sound quality!! If they were 'compressed' onto a single disc then sacrifices would have to be made! Get with it!!

  Cannot Wait!

A lot of people have expressed disappointment in this release due to the films being split over two discs each. I understand where they're coming from. I myself complained about this first, until I then realised that it's a good idea.

Yes, Blu-Ray holds a lot of memory, but with each film having two-discs, it gives even more space to make the quality even more impressive. After the Theatrical Blu-Ray release received such negative response, I believe the studio is making sure that doesn't happen again, and I agree with them.

The films: I think The Fellowship of the Ring is the best of the three, followed by The Two Towers, and The Return of the King. Not to say that the other two aren't bad -- they're not! They're incredible.

The trilogy is fantastic, and I cannot wait for this release. I previously owned the Extended Editions on DVD, and they were so much better than the Theatrical Films!

with all the information the blu-ray disc can hold,i am dissapointed that the films are spread over 2 discs, would have given 5 stars if it was 1 disc per film

  Excited but disappointed

As someone who has followed LOTR for some 35 years in book, radio play (CD), and then DVD, I am naturally highly excited that this is finally comiong to Blu-ray in its extended format (why aren't all films offered in DVD as extended? [HP take note]). However I have to agree with those who feel that this technology should enable viewers to watch this version from a single disc. I do really enjoy all the extra's, but not at the expense of having to pause a film (3 films actually) in the middle to put in the 2nd disc. And at 55 pounds it does leave a slightly bitter taste in the mouth. Having said all this I wouldn't miss the chance for Blu-ray extended LOTR for all the treasure in Smaug's cave!

YES! About time....the fantasic complete extended editions on blu-ray with a wooping 15 disc's! i dont have to say how awsome these films are cause i'm sure you all no these will be one of the best blu-ray boxset's ever like the alien anthology. The films will be in stunning hi-def and extra's that will take weeks and weeks to get through.
On the the box it says limited so this set will only be out for a limited time i think so pr-order this awsome boxset on play.com now! i definately have.
