i have not seen the blue ray version yet, but since it is my all time favourite I'm buying it today. i already have all three other versions of the movie, I just hope they do it justice as it will look magnificent if the conversion is a good one, really can't wait, I'll update this review once i have seen the br version.
this is a classic movie, and a great price on blu-ray well worth for your collection
This is a great movie. Seen it on TV several times on BBC. Expected European and USA editions with separate Goldsmith and Tangerine Dream music tracks but was disappointed to find that this 'B' region blu-ray is NOT the same as the one released in the US, Only has the Goldsmith music on both options available on the disc... HOWEVER, do NOT let this put you off! The movie has spectacular effects and the story is well told. My bias would have been in favour of the Tangerine Dream soundtrack but, if you ignore the loss, the movie stands up for itself very well. Add to your collection and savour the acting of the childlike persona that was/is Tom Cruise!
