 Tasking Time!!!

The only task here was spending 1hr and 30 minutes watching this poor excuse of a horror film. I've coughed up scarier things than this film. There's more tension in Dawn French' knicker elastic. If there was such a thing as time police then the people who made this film would all be doing life now for wasting so much of it. So in conclusion you would be better off giving someone a fiver and getting them to sneak up on you and go BOO, that would be more entertaining.

 WHY IS THIS SO SLATED?

Top 100 Music Reviewer

Honestly i don't get why this is so laid into. No,it's not brilliant, but it's entertaining enough, once it gets going.
It's kind of big brother with the feeling of saw mixed in. The youngsters who entered for a new gameshow, find themselves abducted and driven to an abandoned prison, where it's explained to them they must spend the night there and do some tasks to win big cash.
The contestants are big brother type characters, ranging form really annoying to not quite so annoying. As they get into the place and the first is given his task, things get a little more intersting. This camp guy who fears religion is given the cruel task of having to read the lord's prayer backwards, whilst sitting in the dark and feeling things lurking near by. Hardly scary you could argue, but this is about playing on fears.
Then as the games continue, each using the fear of that contestant, things get weird,as the production team realizes the show isn't going as planned, someone odd is lurking around.
The team starts to wonder if they are being tricked by their superiors. There's some really nice twists as it goes on,twists on twists you could say. It's done pretty well and just about gets 4 starts from me,as the acting is passable and the format caught my interest.
Okay,so it isn't top horror, but it's got a bit of gore and i wouldn't say it is awful,so open your mind to something different and enjoy it for what it is,if you're up for the task.

The best thing about this film is that it has a man trapped in a bath of turd. The worse thing about this film is the other 1hour and 34minutes.
