A true chronicling of the triumphs and tragedies of the band's 16 year history, Back And Forth chronicles, Foo Fighters' entire existence: from Dave Grohl's cassette demos to the band forming to play those songs to their ascent to becoming one of the biggest bands in the world. Back And Forth features Foo Fighters recalling every stage of the band's existence more candidly and intimately than ever before, culminating in a behind the scenes look at direct-to-analog tape sessions in Grohl's garage that produced the new album 'Wasting Light'.

If you're a fan of Foo Fighters you owe it to yourself to see this documentary. If you're not 100% sure whether you like Foo Fighters you need to see this documentary. If you haven't heard of Foo Fighters you need to see this documentary.

After seeing it on its one-night-only cinema showing, Foo Fighters are now firmly my favourite band. The story they tell will have you laughing in places, welling up in others. You become connected with the band. I now feel as if I know them all, which is a weird thing to say.

Check it out. You owe it to yourself.

I dabbled back and forth with Foo Fighters' music over the years and, for me, many songs have been hugely memorable, yet a few rather forgettable. But hey, as band members say, nothing is perfect. I watched this documentary on TV a few nights back and it all just came together. I understood. I was enlightened. But I forgot to record it! So, I'm delighted to now be ordering the DVD and shall enjoy it many times over ... alongside the new album, on which ALL tracks are excellent. Go get it all yourself. You won't regret it. Really, you won't.

I watched this on TV last week. Then felt compelled to watch it again and again and the same goes to listening to Wasting LIght.

Before watching it, I liked the Foos, but now feel like I know everything about them and love & respect them totally. You have to see this.
