After the release of Jake Blues (John Belushi) from prison, he and brother Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) go to visit the orphanage where they were raised by nuns. They learn that the church stopped its support and will sell the place unless the tax on the property is paid within 11 days. The brothers decide to raise the money by putting their blues band back together and staging a big gig. They may be on a 'mission from God' but they're making enemies everywhere they go. Featuring performances by some of blues finest: James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and co-starring John Candy, Carrie Fisher, Henry GIbson and Steve Lawrence.

One Cool movie, with a Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi on top of their game.
The highlight of the movie is the Mind Blowing Endless Car Chase Pile Up.
Just incredible to watch, just when you thing the sequences is going to end, it just carries on.
Made in the days without Special effects, it is a truly marvellous moment, and worth watching the movie for the sequence alone.

FYI - unfortunately you'll find only Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian and Swedish on the disc.

However, after seen the movie 3 times or more, you really don't need any further translation.

5 points for a good transfer and sound. Nothing more to say about the movie itself ...

 A true masterpiece!

This is a truly unique and hilarious film from start to finish. A cast of hilarious actors supported by some outstanding kings and queens of the blues world. Both Belushi and Akroyd moved their Saturday night live characters on to the big screen and created a legacy that continues to stand its ground as a true master piece. I have probably seen the movie 100+ times and it still is one of the greatest movies of all time.
