MR NOLAN HAS LET US DOWN

| | See all centurion's reviews (54)

Mr Nolan has let us down with this film and the other 2 batman movies that he has made. To me batman is set in a comic book fantasy world but Mr Nolan has tried and failed to bring batman into the real world. 1st of all if you watch the 3 films Gotham city changes in the 3 films, then we have the train or tram overhead system were has that gone from the 1st movie, 1st we have one but in the 3rd its gone and last what happen to arkham 1st movie its there 3rd its gone.Bane could of been a very good villian if you could understand him.Batman did not in anyway want me to feel for him like in the Tim Burton batman movies, i just thought all the way through will bane just hurry up and brake his back and get it over for us.For me not a good film or trilogy at all.you can all give negative review but the big let down is why has Gotham turned into New York. This film and trilogy has so many holes than swish cheese.i have watched this movie 4 times now and it gets worst by each watch.the only good thing about the trilogy is Heath Leager.

  'COMPELLING VIEWING'

'gotham city' has enjoyed eight years virtually crime free, until now, 'villian' war-lord' ''bane'' is imposing his will upon the city
'bruce wayne' has not needed to resume his role as the dark knight, till now that is.
he has to overcome the injuries he stil carries from his previous activity eight years ago, he needs to put the 'cape' on again to save his beloved city.
family servant and friend 'alfred' expresses his concern's for 'bruce's' safety.
has 'batman' met his match in taking on 'bane' ?
he will need the help of jewel thief 'cat woman' despite her apparent act of treachery along the way.
a superb visual treat for ''batman'' fans.

  ITS NO DARK NIGHT..

first of all i would like to say i found the picture to be very impressive with some stunning shots of the city..as with the sound.. even though i did find it hard to understand what bane was saying at times ..speaking of bane i didnt find his character engaging/exciting as i did the joker..as for the movie its long but the storyline is there to keep you intrested..
now i know many other reviewers may disagree with me but after seeing the first and second movies and waiting so long for this to be made why make me wait so long to see the bat appear in the movie and when he does its short winded and then your waiting till the end till he pops up again..im sorry but i want to see a batman movie not 10 mins of batman..on a positive note the catwoman was fantastic and i felt had it not been for her this movie would of seriously failed..
all in all i did enjoy the movie and it has a good storyline but i felt we needed to see more of the bat after all we have been waiting long enough..

  Great film but damn boarders....

Fantastic film got this today on blu ray 2 days before release only problem I got with it is when watching is one minute you think great full screen no boarders the whoops boarders appear then another minute there gone they hey presto there back again it's like that throughout the film really annoyed me. Other then that sound was great picture was great, just stupid boarders appearing then disappearing all the time. ( and no it's not my tv) it's the transfer

  Christopher Nolan Is A Genius

| | See all jasto11's reviews (1)

What an amazing end to an amazing Trilogy. Thank you Christopher Nolan. I absolutely loved this film. The soundtrack is great, the character development is fantastic, the action is amazing and we are introduced to some great new Characters. Selina Kyle plated by Anne Hathaway is fantastic. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a real star here. He has come a long way sice Roseanne. Overll I would give this movie 5 stars. Bane is scary as hell, Batman is vinerable and doubts himself. Bruce Wayne's relationship with Alfred played by the brillant Michael Caine is challenged. This would be great stocking filler!

The Dark Knight does indeed Rise.

This has got to be one of the best films I have ever seen. Nolan has managed to exceed his previous films and created the perfect ending that this epic legend deserves. It's also one of those films you can watch a keep picking up things you never noticed before, and there are plenty of nerve racking scenes. Hans Zimmer has produced an amazing score and the all star cast are brilliant s their characters. You need to see this film!

  Disappointing!!!

The Dark Knight lived up to it's hype...This didn't!

Too slow and too long!

Good performance by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, though!!
