I love this film. The story of the two brothers and their difficult relationship with the alcoholic father and the MMA works well.

I admit I was emotional at the end!.

  Unreal!

Very well acted and directed drama with two great performances by Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton and an Oscar nominated one by Nick Nolte in this tale fof two brothers who haven't seen each other in many years and face each other in the ring.

While it's certainly similar to Rocky and many similar films that doesn't at all mean Warrior doesn't draw you into it's story to the point by the time the finale rolls around you'll be totally involved. With good support from Jennifer Morrison this is a quality drama worth checking out.

  Just the ending.... DOH!

Loved this movie and you will too. Great casting, actors, action, story etc etc bar one little niggle which was inevitable unfortunately. Tom Hardys character is an awesome, unstoppable one strike destroys everyone in his path, seemingly emotionless machine of a fighter.... but loses to his brother who lets be honest was made to struggle to the final two and nearly lost most of his fights. I know it had to be done to make the film finish with a bit of a heart story but the build up of hardy's fighter as effectively unbeatable just made the end a bit duff. Fortunately the rest of the film made up for it. Maybe just watch it up to the last fight, then watch that one in 6 mths time when you have forgotton what the rest of the film was about.

  WOW. INSPIRING!!! 10/10!!!

Wow is what sums up this film as a whole. Tom Hardy has so much acting ability and it has been put to full effect in this stunning film which you dont have to be a lover of UFC to watch. Its deeper than that and really delves into how family bonds are broken and rebuilt. Nick Nolte plays a great part and the acting from them is flawless. Though the one thing that I would change is that I would not have chosen Joel Edgerton to play the part of Brendan, as I think he is upstaged and his acting looks second rate in comparison to Hardy and Nolte. Aside from that 1 point the film is as inspiring as any of the Rocky films and awards for best actor should be given to both Hardy and Nolte!!

THE BEST ACTION FILM IN YEARS!!

I waited to watch this film in Blu-ray, and so glad I did. This was one of the best films i've ever seen. Was so good I had to rewind some scenes and watch it again. Should've watched it in the cinema, missed out.

  BROTHERLY SHOVE!

Warrior has it all, superb acting by Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton and Nick Nolte. The drama is set up excellently in the first hour as the second half deals with some of the best MMA ever put to screen. This was the best viewing experience in the cinema last year as I saw grown men reduced to jibbering wrecks when the final bell rang. It may be similar to 2011s excellent oscar winner The Fighter, but for me Warrior was even more enjoyable.
This is one of the best sports movies ever put to screen as it expertly updates the foundations layed by the likes of Rocky and Raging Bull.
in a word 'Brilliant!'
see if you like......
The Fighter.
Raging Bull.
Rocky Saga.
Million Dollar Baby.
Cinderella Man.
