Senna is the true story of Brazilian motor-racing legend, Ayrton Senna, whom many believe was the greatest driver who ever lived.

Spanning Senna's titanic Formula One career, the film charts his physical and spiritual journey, both on track and off; his quest for perfection and his ultimate transformation from a supremely gifted novice, who exploded into F1 in 1984, to myth after the tragic events of Imola in 1994. Made with the full co-operation of the Senna family and Formula One Management, Senna is the first official documentary feature about his life, featuring astounding archive material, much of which is previously unseen.

I as a huge Senna fan i saw this film in the cinema (Twice) and i have to say it is fantastic, they have used the footage that the Senna Family gave them very well and mixed it in with some great footage of him racing.

 A must have!!!

What a movie, intense, ferocious, moving, emotional, HUMAN!!!!! I am not an emotional person normally but this movie had me in tears. An incredible well told documentary that shows F1 in its truest light. An exceptional piece of direction in the way the story is told by Ayrton himself. Simply Incredible!!!!!

A must for any Formula one fan.........

This is a must for any Formula One fan. I went to the cinema knowing little about him as i'd never seen him race but the film gives the viewer a major insight into his life. Senna was more than a racing driver, he was a genius, a hero and a legend. This film depicts his life perfectly up until that sad day in 1994. The film will have you engrossed from lights to flag..............

Excellent dvd, only minus point no real coverage of Donnington 1993, possibly his greatest moment in F1

 Truly Genius

As a Formula one fan born in 1990, I never watched Senna race, and it was only until I watched this film that I realised just why he was the greatest of all time.

The production and mix of family and race footage is astoundingly good, it captures Senna in so many during so many different emotions that you feel as though you are right there with him in his most testing and joyful times.

The phrase 'must see' is vastly over used, but I cannot stress enough how good this film is, I will watch it hundreds of times over the next few years and know then ending will still make me cry!
