Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 3D (4 Discs) (Blu-ray)

Without a doubt, the best was saved for last when it came to the Harry Potter movies. An action-packed fun filled end to the series. Picture and surround sound are amazing although the 3D throughout most of the film looked flat and was very disappointing especially when compared to Thor or Captain America. While I'd definitely recommend the movie on blu-ray I'd avoid the 3D version as it adds very little to the over-all experience.

After a few false starts in the Potter franchise, the final instalment doesn't dissapoint at all. Action packed from start to finish and you couldnt say that about many of the films. Superb set pieces and battles between good and evil and "you know who" steals the film. Fabulous ending and a worthwhile aquisition to any move fans collection. Brilliant!!!!

amazing end to the potter series and 3D was worth it

If you have a 3D tv i would get this, it's amazing 3D and great value for money. You get alot more than for the dvd and for a couple of pound extra you get the 3D version. Fantastic

A fine example of jumping on the 3D bandwagon, but what do you expect from a studio that decided to turn the final book (which is shorter than the first) into two films.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the film but the 3D is pretty pointless. Most of the film feels flat, especially darker scenes of which there are many. A few good sections use the technology well, such as the "roller coaster" ride through Gringotts, the following escape on a dragon and some views of Voldemorts' army, but these are few and far between. On the plus side the 3D in part two is better than in part one, but that's not saying much.
