The dark knight of X-men movies!

I honestly don't think you can get a more better x-men movie than this. The story is fantastic and much more mature than most comic book movies. Well written and stylishly directed by Matthew Vaughn. Michael Fassbender and James Mcavoy deliver the best performances and have great chemistry! Magneto is incredible in this! The effects are outstanding and Kevin Bacon even shines as the villain. Very entertaining! Probably the best comic book movie after Nolans Batman films and Spiderman 2.

  The Irish Magneto

Loved X Men: First Class, good slab of fun and a big improvement over the last couple of X-Men films. Could have quite happily just watched 2 hours of Magneto: Nazi Hunter as Fassbender really steals the whole thing. No idea why he has an Irish accent for the last 30 mins of the film though.... weird and distracting, like they ran out of time to finish the ADR.

In my oppinion DC is trumping Marvel in movies alone. With that said this is a very good movie. (Though not totally accurate to the '60's era of X-men.) 'The acring by Mcavoy and Fassbender is ridiculously superb.

  Best X-Men film yet!

This film has officially been crowned my favourite X-Men film to date. Everything is just spot on with this film. The acting, the story, the effects, the music...everything!
Fassbender is fantastic as the troubled Erik/Magneto and is the main event of the film. Jennifer Lawrence plays the character of Mystique well and it adds a whole new dimension to the character. It really gets you questioning as to who is doing the right thing in what will become the mutant war.

I feel as though the package could have had a bit more in terms of special features. No commentary track which is disappointing - this film would have been an interesting watch with a commentary. You get about an hours worth of behind the scenes, just over 10 minutes of deleted scenes, and isolated score and 'Cerebro' - a mutant fact finder.

Great film, which deserved a better release.

Saying 'My friend' over and over does not replace the need for actual character development!!!

This does for X Men what Twilight did to Vampires. Make of that what you will.
