Immortals 3D: Steelbook Edition - Triple Play (Blu-ray)

This is a very awesome film, non stop action from start to finish, if you loved films like clash of the titans and especially 300 then this is certainly for you, great story thats fast paced with blood and guts and plenty of quality action scenes, the fight scenes are awesomely epic especially between the gods and the titans, top notch special effects and plenty of arty cool slow motion scenes! This is the perfect movie all round for fun and a good thrill ride, great cast, a must see.

the film tells the tale of 'theseus' a well trained young warrior living the life of a peasant in a small grecian community.
an invasion is imminent, 'king hyperion' is in search of the long lost 'bow' which has special powers.
the peasants are told to wait until the morning before moving into the fortified area, however, it' proves to be too late as the invading forces sweep into the settlment killing all but a few.
the survivors including 'theseus' are to be sent to work in the salt mines.
the survivors are helped to escape their capters, 'theseus' goes back to the settlment to give his mother who he'd been forced to see killed at the hands of the invading king, a proper funeral in accordance to tradition.
it is at this time, 'theseus' stumbles accross the much sought 'bow' soon learning it's power.
now 'theseus' sets out to rally the few to face the many, and fulfill his destiny.
the 'gods' who are only suposed to look on are set to get involved.
this is a really good watch in both 3D and 2D, maybe not as intense in battle as the classic '300' offering, however it is visually impressive with some pretty good battle scenes, certainly worthy of adding to your collection.

I purchased this as it was supposed to have plenty of action in it from the beginning. I don't know if I missed something but found it boring and a total waste of money.

Totally awesome film. Story is fantastic. This is by far the best 3D blu-ray I've seen. The 3D is so clear and unlike so many other 3D movies you don't get any of the double vision on things that are just out of focus.
