Series 6 is marvelous,the other review was obviously by someone without any taste known to humanity.
Series 6 was not even finished at the time of that review.
ive seen it and it was gold.
Some great new characters make it fresh,its a shame Doakes is gone still.Moss def is genius.Buy this when its available.
Have just finished watching season 6 and have to say i think its by far the best yet. Its back to how Dexter was and is very much on par with season 1. The twists and turns throughout will blow you away and the twist in the very last scene of episode 12 will blow your socks off! I for one cant wait for season 7. Ill be buying the complete collection when Dexter is finally over!
I have to disagree, Dexter is not a classic cause of dragging a series out too long. As each new season comes out the better and more entrancing the episodes are, once you start to watch you just cant stop. This season is definitely the best.
it has to be said that dexter is a classic case of dragging things out for too long. the first two seasons were absolute tv gold. season 3 and 4 were ok and 5 was poor. this is along the same lines as season 5 and just feels drawn out and boring. i say get back to good old dexter or bring the franchise to an explosive end!!
Dexter is one of my favourite shows on TV but season 6 completely missed the mark.
I can't be specific with some of my views as I don't want to spoil the storyline.
The writer's completely over looked plot lines and treated the audience as if we were stupid. Dexter, an intelligent character, made foolish mistakes and the religious theme was not used to its full potential.
The season was saved in the last 5 minutes. Truly suspenseful and opens up a fantastic story arc for Season 7.
