3 Not all i was hoping for...Seraph87 | 04/12/2011 | See all Seraph87's reviews (17)To be honest, can they really claim this is a blu-ray purchase when only 1/5 discs are blu-ray? The 5 discs in question consist of;Disc 1. Theatrical film (blu-ray, A couple of 1-2min long extras, deleted scenes and "capturing the stone" 15mins interview with the film-makers.)Disc 2. Extended film (DVD, Film only, Extended because the deleted scenes have been reinstated, don't worry you can also watch them all on the next discs as they are a 'special fetaure' too)Disc 3. Theatrical film (DVD, film only)Disc 4. Special Fetaures (DVD, as per the original release of the film, impossible to navigate, lots of jumping through hoops.)Disc 5. Creating the world of HP Part 1. (DVD, hour long documentary, new, at least to me)Still no sign of a commentary mind you, and all of the data involved could be condensed onto 2 maybe 3 blu-rays at the most, again Warner are going for the 'more is better' approach here. The art book is nice, and tailored to the disc 5 theme (the magic begins) showing concept art and behind the scenes images. All in all, you would have to be a big fan of Harry Potter to warrant buying these versions of the films, while the blu-ray version of the film does look and sound a bit better from the dvd version, you can't help but feel like you're being treated as a cash pinata by Warner Bros.
