5 Blu-ray ReviewTechnoLord | 24/01/2014 | See all TechnoLord's reviews (1)Not much more needs to be said about the film other than its a masterpiece and a classic that will be remembered for years and years. If you are looking to buy Misery then I would highly recommend that you buy it on Blu-ray. I had seen the film prior to watching it on blu-ray many times before and when I saw the first scene of the blu-ray version I was instantly impressed. The first thing I noticed was that the colours were much more vibrant and the overall video quality looked very crisp and clear. No imperfections at all. I guess I could say now thinking about it that the sound quality was slightly better too, although this was played through my standard tv speakers which I don't really rate. But definitely with a good quality surround sound system you would notice a difference. So overall, the picture quality is a big step up from DVD and SD quality. Crisp, clear and vibrant. Worth the cockadoodee money!
