Tried to makei it like Father Ted or one of the old classics but I personally reckon this fails miserably. This is one of the most completely unfunny sitcoms I have ever seen (I'm also talking about series 1). Tries almost too hard to be funny. I thought the series is lame. No where near the same league as Father Ted which is what this is trying to imitate.
Well well well if youve seen series one you have too see series two. There is no doubt about it. The comedy factor in this has been bigged up so much it is histerical.
I have read previous reviews about how it is trying to imitate father ted but in no way it is not. Father ted is so old this is soooo modern.
Mrs. Browns boys brings laughter for the whole family. I would highly reccomend viewing this on blu ray the quality is much better.
The extras are so amazing. So get purchasing for the whole family it is a uy now product!!!!
Irish mammy of 6 Agnes Brown is back in the Bafta award winning Mrs Browns Boys.Every episode is so funny and had me in stitches and I love the fact that a lot of comedian Brendan O,Carroll(Mrs Brown) family stars with him in this for example the actress who plays his daughter Kathy Brown is actually Brendan's real-life wife.This is the funniest sitcom on the BBC in ages and will have you hurting from laughing so much.Comedy gold can't wait for series 3

Although every episode is just funny as fek, the one where she buzz off taking Rory's acid is the funniest thing I have ever seen.
Cant wait to see this live.
After watch the original series box set you can see how much they characters have developed. Please keep this growing for series 3 as you seem to be going from strength to strength.
There is excellent interaction with the cast and crew. Noboby know what Mrs Brown will do next, not even the cast as you see their surprise.
