what a total let down of a film ! first film is up there with the absolute best ! but IMO this 2nd film is a shocking follow up ! first film is rated 18 the 2nd film is a 12A and that says it all.... just watch the 1st film again and dont bother with this WATERED DOWN FILM. shocking !
I noticed some distinct similarities between this and the first film so don't expect anything very new. Still a good, enjoyable film
after the big success of the first movie and all the chit chat of the second..
the movie company have sold them selves out and dropped the rating of this movie to maximize on there profits and buy doing this you are getting the same story but with a more family outing approach..so those actions scenes that made the first one so special have been toned down and the killer instinct that liam had in the first now looks like hes a back street brawler..you can also see that so much has been cut from nearly every action sequence that their will defo be a harder and much longer cut to come..
so my advice would be to hold out on this and wait for the proper version..
Not a bad film I just don't hope they make a number 3
in the first film 'bryan mills' ( former c.i.a agent ) rescued his daughter who had been kidnapped by an 'albanian' gang.............in the process killing all involved.
the family's of those killed now seek revenge..............this time both daughter and his ex-wife become involved.
must admit i was dubious of how this one would link-up..................needn't have worried.
maybe not as polished as the first however.......great action, superb car-chase...............great entertaining watch.
