The Hunger Games (2 Discs) (With Exclusive Art Cards) (Blu-ray)

Saw this at the cinema, I couldn't wait for it to finish. It's just a boring Version of Battle Royale. All the hype, fighting with blades and no blood and the long Build up to the games. If you Love the book, you'll Probably like the movie.

Not for me, or even anyone I know that watched it.

I watched this in cinema and personally for me, it's the best film so far of 2012 (although I haven't watched Wrath of the Titans). The storyline draws you in, and although parts can be a bit predictable, it still makes for a great watch.

I bought the book and read it in a day I loved it and couldn't put it down. So when I watched the movie I was very disappointed the acting isn't very good at all Katniss and Peeta are okay but the rest of the cast are flat and boring. When people died I didn't care about them like I did in the book in the movie I just though what next. Parts of the book were changed in the movie, it takes 70 mins for the Hunger Games to begin from then on the film seems rushed and boring. Again I loved the books and I had to be honest so people know what to expect from the film. I don't have high hopes for the next movie Catching Fire.

I have not read any of the books but the hype that surrounded this film made it feel like a new Harry Potter replacement had arrived.
It is long, boring and bloodless, never have i wanted the leads to die in a film before but now that feeling is stronger than ever.
140 minutes of my life that i will never get back.
