The hole movie was amazing, a few Movies this year have been good but The Expendable 2 knocked them out of the park with good old fashion action with a little bit of comedy, 80's action exploding in to 2012 it rocks
Action does NOT come more badass than this, the expendables is a proper old school movie for fan boys who grew up with these classic movie icons of the 70s 80s and 90s, this movie is packed with all the regulars from the original plus a handful of new comers all doing what they do best looking macho and kicking butt, the addition of a bigger role for Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger only makes it more fun and they must have used every classic cheesy one liner ever from their popular movies of the past. Jean-Claude Van Damme was an awesome villain and its good to see him on the big screen again, the action was bigger and better than before with plenty of bloody carnage to sink your teeth into, if you loved the original this wont let you down its a chunky, bloody macho fan boy wet dream of an action movie, this series is a one of a kind guilty pleasure, check it out!
The Expendables will always be snubbed by critics you know the ones, they'll call it shallow, dumb with thread bare characters and story and over reliant on violence. But that's totaly missing the point of what the original and this sequel is all about. It's there just to have a good time with and see all the old action hero's that we grew up with on the screen at the same time.
The Expendables 2 mostly puts right the niggles that most fans had with the original. This sequel is better paced there's more insane action, bigger battles more corney one liners and most of all more Arnie and Willis. The plot is there just to link the action and for what it's worth is nasty Van Damme wants to mine 5 tone of weapons grad plutonium and the Expendables are called in to stop him and his private army. This includes them destroying most of Eastern Europe.
From the masive opening sequence you know this film is on a bigger scale from the first. Van Damme is having a blast, Chuck Norris shoots and kills loads of bad guys and the rest of the team take on the rest. Bullets fly, heads explode, blades slice all leading up to the showdown with Stallone and Van Damme. By the end of the film your ear drums will have taken a pounding but you'll leave the cinema with a big grin on your face. The Expendables set's it's stall out to entertain without bothering the grey matter and it succeeds. Job Done!

what can i say..it was good to see the boys back together and was good to see chuck norris and van damme brought into the mix also arnie and willis play bigger roles..was a little disappointed to see jet li taken out of the action a little early as i thought he played a good part in the first..
as we all know it just cheesy good fun with the golden oldies but if your expecting a better movie than the first you may be left a little disappointed yes it still has the big guns big explosions and funny one liners but the movie was lacking what the first had..if you watch you will know what i mean..
all in all worth a watch just to see the boys all together again but defo not as good as the first..
