From Disney and creative genius Tim Burton (Alice in Wonderland, The Nightmare Before Christmas) comes the hilarious and offbeat Frankenweenie, a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor hanesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life - with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor's fellow students, teachers and the entire town learn that getting a new "leash on life" can be monstrous. Complete with electrifying bonus features, Frankenweenie is alive with enchanting fun for the whole family.

from the momment the movie starts it has tim burton written all over it..
you know that dark gothic feel..and i have to say its starting to get a little boring..
the story focuses on a boy bringing his dog back from the dead..now while watching i was trying to think is it trying to be a comedy or something a bit more serious..either way it was lacking any spark and found it hard to stay intrested being in black and white certainly didnt help..maybe its time for tim to try something a little different..
all in all if you want to watch a good animation movie at the momment i suggest paranorman..

 My film choice of 2012!!

Totally, utterly, absolutely brilliant!!! Tim Burton at his very best in all aspects of the film - story line, animation, characterisation. It doesn't need colour, almost better without it, as it certainly is a tribute to the Black and White Horror Movies. Anyone who has not seen this MUST get a copy to play - again and again!!

 Top stuff

Top 100 Music Reviewer

This is a great Tim Burton film that shows grief and death in a way that makes it better for kids to appreciate. The story is great and the animation is superb. On a par with Paranorman, but this is far more quirky and a really great story. Recommended

 A Great Watch

Classic Tim Burton story telling. Loved all the characters and voices. Picture quality and special FX are excellent. loved the black and white!

A good one for Halloween. May a tad too pricey at the moment (18 pound)
