One person has put on here that it is low budget?!?!?! Ridiculous comment, this is by far the best tv series I have ever watched. It's not just about killing Zombies, but about survival and living in a world with very little hope. I recommend to all fans to also read the books they are just as good as the series but do contain spoilers. Acting is brilliant, no bimbos or predictable outcomes. If the books are anything to go by it will only get better!!!

The Walking Dead season 2 is awesome. Although the storyline differs from the original comics this is still a great, well written and superbly acted TV show.

The Walking Dead is one of the best horrific drama's ever to be shown on TV, the carnage is on an epic scale that surpasses it's TV origins. This is a much bigger season as Fox invested more money after the huge hit of the first season. This picks up directly after the first, but now the strains in the survivors group starts to show and loyalties get divided. The centre of the story revolves around a missing girl and the safeness of a farm. With this being a much bigger season the pace is slower, but this is a good thing as the characters get more time to breath only to be killed off in a startleing
matter of fact way. The survivors have to kill the living to protect the secret of the farm and the small matter of what's in the barn push the rag tag team to the limits leading to a spectacular ending leading us to season 3 that looks like it's going to up the ante further.
This is an outstanding Zombie epic.

I love the walking dead. Has to be said that this is one of my best tv series ever. This has a good story line, its gory, scary and sad in some parts. The only thing bad I have to say about it is that the blu ray picture quality isn't brilliant, just buy the normal copy and save the money. This still deserves 5 stars. A must buy. Can't wait for season 3 :)

I agree with many reviewers from the standard DVD review section. Season 1 was simply brilliant and season 2 did not live up to it predecessor. Having said that it was still gripping stuff with some superb episodes and some great (and not so great) acting. However, I found myself getting very annoyed at the poor plot lines involving Rick's wife and child and was hoping they would end up as zombie food... but I will not give that away! There was also some pretty boring episodes which seemed to be in there to string out the series and focused too much (IMO) on love triangles and relationships... Yes we need those in the story but it was way way too much! Some of the script was flawed (probably due to lazy writing) for example Rick wife never seems to be keeping a proper eye her son and he (conveniently for the script) ended up wandering around without her knowledge encountering zombies... just not believable and not the way a mother would behave in a zombie infested world. I'm hoping season 3 will be better with more zombie orientated episodes and less lovee dovee stuff! I took off one star for the one episode that was really really boring! Bluray transfer 8/10!

  Trading on Season One

Not a lot of effort has been put into season two. Most of the episodes are set on a farm, seems to go on forever and you end up wishing something should happen. Low budget, lets hope they spend more on season three. Not worth full cost.
