Marvel Avengers Assemble 3D (3D & 2D) (Blu-ray)

Received my copy 2 days earlier prior to release date. Watched the 3D blu-ray version.....wow! Great 3D conversion even though the film wasn't originally shot in 3D, this film is great to watch and it does stand out alot in 3D.....a film to definitely show off your tv. The film itself is amazing, im a huge marvel fan and the way that the studio has build up the excitement from the very start with Ironman all the way to Captain America, seeing all these guys together for the first time in one film is simply epic! Cannot wait for more future films to come out! I recommend you purchase this film right away, you wont be disappointed.

I had seen the film in 2D at the cinema - but watched the 3D blu-ray after the discs arrived from play this weekend.

I was really surprised by how good the 3D was. I wacthed the film on a 3D projector and it looked like it had been filmed with "proper" 3D cameras - but according to online sources the film was shot in 2D and converted to 3D afterwards.

The story itself is enjoyable. Good affects, decent acting - not too cheesy.

The movie is amazing. I thought I'd seen the best 3-D with few other movies, but this was fantastic for a t.v. There's not just depth, but you have super heroes coming out into your living room; especially iron man.
If you love 3-D and super heroes, this is a must buy. The story builds for an epic finale that'll you'll want to watch over again. great replay value!

Absolutely brilliant movie that showed what a good script and fine cast can do! Dont want to spoil any of the movie but each character gets enough screen time and a reason to be in the movie. This is not like Iron Man 2 or Spiderman 3 that has too many characters squeezed into a waffer thin plot. At a running time of over 2hours this film felt well paced and never dragged a brilliant addition to the Marvel movies. The 3d effects are ok but it was rendered in 3d after the movie was made so there is no really good 3d set pieces (this said the set pieces are excellent and are not forced into the movie just for the sake of it). Just buy it!
P.S. I hear there is an extra 15minute mini movie on the DVD and Blu Ray release that wasnt shown in the cinema.

hands off! the UK-Version is censored and not worth a penny!
