 Looking Good on Blu-Ray

This film looks pin sharp and sounds superb in Blu-Ray. This is reference quality and a good disc to show off your system. The uncompressed PCM 5.1 audio is in a league of its own..................also i must point out the film is excellent, a british gangster film with intelligence!!!

Overall, great movie. Excellent performances from the whole cast. The first hour and a half was so smooth and stylish, a pleasure to watch.

However, being an honest review, i think the film had too many twists towards the end, that revealved something here or there, that to be honest, was told to us to late in the film or had no real need to be in there and did not change the outlook of the story.., but the plot was so strong it didnt need these ''flash backs''. This is my only minor gripe.

Anyhow, you would have to watch it to decide for yourself and the picture and sound was superb.

Maybe a rental to see what you think, but no reason why you may not want this movie in your collection.

i hope this review helps

This film was very very boring the storyline was rubbish and there was not many action scens in it i read a couple of reviews in a mag and it said that there was lots of action scens so i thought that i would rent it out so i went and rented it out and watched it and i found it very boring so aviod this one at all costs

Superb film with outstanding pic & sound quality!

This was the film that nabbed Craig the role of a certain brutal secret service agent in Casino Royale, and it's easy to see why.

Craig's portrayal of a fiercely intelligent and icy cool drugdealer is a unique character in the cliched British "gangsta" flicks of Lock, Stock and Snatch.
The common cinematic stereotype that all British drugdealers are clueless Mockneys only out to earn small potatoes and inflict extreme violence, quickly evaporate once you see Craig's disciplined and razor sharp performance.

This Blu-ray also contains a stunning transfer. The lighting and colour of certain scenes are absolutely stunning. Check out the warehouse scene at the end and see how beautifully yellow and well lit everything is, or the interior scenes at the Gentlemen's Club where sunshine pours through in glorious HD as Craig and his crew discuss business. It's one of the most underated films and Blu-rays ever!
And has what I would consider near perfect demo picture quality! BUY IT.
