Comment: Brand new and sealed. The Steelbook is in mint condition. I have checked it over for damage and there is nothing that I can see of concern. No dents or dings. No spine slashes. Just right! I am unable to know if there is any damage beneath the backing card though. Delivery will be 1st class recorded and the item will be very well packaged to avoid damage during transit. I collect these beauties and know how I would want to receive them. That's how you will receive yours. Buy with confidence! :)

Deep in the heart of one of Jakarta's most deprived slums stands an impenetrable high-rise apartment block. To most it is 30 floors of Hell to be avoided at all costs and is considered a no-go area by even the bravest and most experienced police officers.

In a desperate bid to flush these violent criminals and their leader from their haven once and for all, an elite SWAT team is tasked with infiltrating the building and raiding the apartments floor by floor, taking out anyone who stands in their way. Once inside, it soon becomes terrifyingly apparent that the real problem at hand is surviving long enough to be able to get out again.

The plot is very simple 'go into the building, get the crimelord and escape the building' - job done. No-way is it that easy! The crimelord is a very influential character who controls his criminal empire from atop a rundown appartment block. He is a bit paranoid. He never leaves is comfort zone and he communicates to his 'residents' via a tannoy system within the building. He controls 30 floors worth of drug barons, gang members, rapists and murderers and he has two elite henchmen by his side at the top. Rival gangs have tried and failed to take-over the building and so too have cops. It is described as a 'fortress' by a Police Unit Commander this time with an elite Police force (20 of the best) whos' about to try it one more time...

'The Raid' is the first look into this particular world where criminals can retreat and hide and cops know where to avoid. What this movie does well is put you there in the thick of it, at no point do you feel bored, distracted, or wanting more storylines or more plot twists. The sound track is superb throughout aswell.

At first you get to know the main guy, then before you know it a tactical police unit is being briefed and headed to their next mission in the back of a van untill they get to a tower block, one which no-one dares go in. Things are going well untill they get spotted and all hell breaks loose. You feel you're with these guys as they get split up and have to fight their way through corridors and hallways against the degenerates of society who are hiding and lurking behind every door. Along the way you get to see some of the most incredible and breathless fight scenes you may ever witness. Forget certain martial arts films where you're encouraged to believe warriors can fly or have mystical powers this is bone crunchingly brutal, in you're face kill or be killed action, graphic in places and all pulled off in a realistic fashion. Thankfully its not all one-sided untill the best of the best dual it out in a pretty epic face-off.

I think this film will age well and stand the test of time. The film is subtitled throughout - but theres not too much to take in all at once so you can still follow easily. Highly recommended.

This is the best film I have seen so far in 2012. The story line is not unique and there are some very cliche lines but the action is next level. This is the perfect movie to watch with your mates whilst having a few beers. Watch this before the inevitable Hollywood remake rears its head.

But i just found that is not unrated, the US version is unrated version, why UK can't realize unrated useless, but this is amazing film. Otherwise i would have given 5 stars.
