Generally speaking, Stephen King books make terrible films, but this is one of the few Stephen King adaptations that actually does the book justice. The Blu-Ray version simply makes the film even better, although it doesn't have the action sequences you might be looking for in a high definition film, the beautiful locations are crisper and are given more depth, and Johnny Depp's subtle performance has been given the justice it deserves.
Highly recommended for any King or Depp fans.
