The print on this blu-ray disc is fantastic but does have framing issues.the sword fight at the start of the film with captain jack and will turner is framed incorrectly this problem has been admitted by disney who have started a replacement disc program in the states.will we be getting our uk discs replaced too?check with play to see if the discs on sale now are the new issue blu-rays before buying......

Not the best film in the world, despite all the hype but the SFX in Pirates 1 look ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC on BD. Miles better than the DVD version - BD makes this slightly daft film very watchable.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Top notch.

I've loved this movie ever since i saw it for the first time on dvd 3 years ago.

And now its on Blu ray its even better.

Picture quality is to die for and the audio is out of this world.

If you have a Standalone blu ray player/PS3, then this is the movie its crying out for.
Everyone knows how much of a good movie this is, so there is no point babbling on about the storyline.

But with 13+ hours of extras as well and at this price (17.99), you'd be mad to miss out on this one.

It's a fantastic film, and in High-Definition, looks and sounds amazing. And what Disney should be congratulated on is the fact that there's bonus features! Okay, so most of them are taken directly from the DVD release, and therefore are in SD format, but it's a move in the right direction - too many High Definition movies are being released at a premium, with an expectation that a trailer, and commentary will be enough. It isn't. All I'll say to the film studios is, more like this please!

to be honest i truly dont see the point of me rambling on about how good pirates of the caribbean is because everyone knows that it is a great film with awesome action sequences and an all star cast that would blow most films out of the water.

im just grateful that this film is out on blu ray and that the price is heaper than anywhere else no high street store will beat this price!! a must buy 5/5
