Fantastic family adventure. Brilliant story, action, acting and just visually stunning. With an unforgetable role from Johnny Depp as the Loveable Captain Jack Sparrow, with his charm and brilliant lines in the film. Also very impressive acting form Orlando Bloom as Will Turner and Geoffrey Ruch as the evil Captain Barbossa. As Jack is after his long lost love which is a ship called the Black Pearl he must on his way form an alliance with Turner and fight the living dead of the Black Pearl. Prepare yourself for an amazing ride. Top class movie a must own

  Johnny Depp is awesome

  Worth the money

Not the best film in the world, despite all the hype but the SFX in Pirates 1 look ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC on BD. Miles better than the DVD version - BD makes this slightly daft film very watchable.

I've loved this movie ever since i saw it for the first time on dvd 3 years ago.

And now its on Blu ray its even better.

Picture quality is to die for and the audio is out of this world.

If you have a Standalone blu ray player/PS3, then this is the movie its crying out for.
Everyone knows how much of a good movie this is, so there is no point babbling on about the storyline.

But with 13+ hours of extras as well and at this price (17.99), you'd be mad to miss out on this one.

  Bonus Features... Finally!

It's a fantastic film, and in High-Definition, looks and sounds amazing. And what Disney should be congratulated on is the fact that there's bonus features! Okay, so most of them are taken directly from the DVD release, and therefore are in SD format, but it's a move in the right direction - too many High Definition movies are being released at a premium, with an expectation that a trailer, and commentary will be enough. It isn't. All I'll say to the film studios is, more like this please!
