Firstly anyone telling you this film is superb including the acting and story line - believe them. Not usually my kind of film but this was recommended to me and I am not disappointed. Film itself for me it absolutely 5 stars, however I would have to agree with the previous review that the picture quality all in all is not up to standard. Some of the scenes are beautiful but over the 140 mins not much better than DVD quality. Well worth buying all the same.

however you prob want to hear about the picture quality if you're purchasing this on blu-ray. It's...OK! It's a real hit and miss scenario. The picture quality, when good, is very good.... but when bad, drops to near-DVD quality.

If you're looking for a film to show off crystal clear 1080p HD to the wife, steer clear!

This film is very enjoyable to watch and is great to pass time as it's something like 2hours long. Jennifer Connelly is hott in it aswell, which i suppose is another good point. Definatly worth getting this Blue-Ray.

Firstly I think this is a fantastic film, thought provoking, well scripted and well acted. Simply put this film should not be missed.

This has been the first Blu ray I've watched, Hi Def realy is a cut above DVD if you've got a HDTV and player, get this film.

What a movie!!! When this movie was released in the cinema I wanted to watch it but never got round to it. I knew it was gonna be a good movie but it was even better than I thought. Like someone already said top quality acting!!!!

Only bought this after a friend told me to watch it. Now im forcing all my other friends to watch it.

Leonardo is a legend in this!!! His voice acting of the accent he is protraying is sport on. Full marks.

Decaprio is normally last on my list for actors I like to see in films. However, this is a true masterpiece which must be seen.

Absolutely fantastic film. Bought this on blu-ray a few weeks ago and I was absolutely blown away by the quality; certainly one of the best to date.

As a film, it is brilliant. It really brings to light some of the issues with the diamond industry and will leave a lasting impact on your way of seeing the world.

Definitely get this film, you wont be disappointed!
